What is the role?

Due to internal movement within the business, we currently have an immediate requirement for an experienced Accounts Payable Advisor to join our team based in Leopardstown, Dublin.

As part of the Accounts Payable team, you will be responsible for the processing of supplier invoices, liaising with suppliers and SSE business on queries and ensuring payments are made in line with the Prompt Payment Code.

Your responsibilities will extend to reconciling supplier statements, resolving debit balances to ensure that the system accurately reflects invoices and credit notes which are outstanding.

  • Invoice / Payment accurate processing / holds release
  • Answer mail / phone queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Relevant Contract Tax payments
  • Statement Reconciliation
  • Debit Balances reconciliation
  • What do I need?

    To be considered for this role, we would love you to have :

  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable
  • Excel proficiency (Vlookup, Pivots, Macros)
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional telephone manner
  • Initiative, good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet performance targets and manage your workload
