About the opportunity :
Our client is looking for a Contracts Manager preferably from a residential background, who has proven experience in mid to High Spec Residential and Commercial refurbishment projects and is capable of managing multiple projects at any specific time.
The successful individual will be responsible for managing 3-4 projects at a time between the values of £1-£15M. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established company that provide fantastic career progression.
Your role will include but not be limited to the management of production activity, supporting directors in winning work and making client presentations.
You will be reporting directly to the Construction Director to ensure that strategies and plans develop and are implemented to grow the business in line with agreed regional business objectives.
While not getting stuck in aiding business growth you will be managing client relationships and responsible for the safety and welfare of all staff and subcontractors within their control under the strict observance of our client’s safety policy.
You will also ensure that all plans are developed and deployed and the business controlled such that the business financial targets and objectives are met.
In addition to these duties you will quantify all business and project risks ensuring that senior personal are informed and that the business risk is identified and managed within agreed and acceptable boundaries, as well as ensuring that all information is controlled and entered into the appropriate systems so that an accurate view of the financial performance is communicated and maintained.
About the benefits / rewards :
The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to industry and experience on related projects. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary around £80,000 £100,000.
The package will also include various benefits relating to travel, pension and healthcare. This position will offer the opportunity for vertical progression within this growing organisation.
About the requirements :
Suitable candidates will have a main contracting background. You will be experienced in management of new build and refurbishment projects valued between £1m to £15m ideally with some residential and commercial experience.
The ideal individual will be highly motivated, idea-driven and capable of exceeding expectations. Lateral thinking and highly developed problem-solving abilities should be coupled with a very strong academic or experienced background with at least 3+ years’ in each Contracts Management role.
