An exciting opportunity to work for a fantastic, very staff focused Law firm as a Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer concentrating on Site Set-ups.

    Evidence of experience of / having carried out the following :

  • Producing legal documentation as required, Site set ups for plot sales
  • Drafting of contracts, deeds, documents and letters
  • Drafting, reviewing, Heads of Terms
  • Drafting financial statements
  • Researching and preparing appropriate property searches
  • Engaging in legal research as appropriate
  • Displaying an appreciation of all conveyancing procedures
  • Tasks will include : -

  • Provide legal advice to a range of clients, including large and small property developers.
  • Carrying out in an effective, efficient and timely manner the various stages of legal proceedings with the aim of protecting the interests of the client
  • Assuming responsibility for the areas of work they are tasked with completing.
  • Operating effectively with clients and their professional and financial advisers managing specific areas of concern.
  • Working under the direction of a Partner or line manager and receiving assignments with specified objectives
  • Proactively developing new business opportunities from internal cross-referrals, existing clients and other professionals
  • Management of Client / matter files
  • Meeting agreed targets for chargeable time, fee income generated, billing and fee collection, dealing with administrative routines, and provide administrative support as required by the team
  • Skills and Experience : -

  • PQE relevant to the position
  • A strong desire to learn and widen knowledge
  • Ability to act independently to a reasonably high level
  • Experience of building relationships with both new and existing clients and professionals.
  • Good communication skills in order to explain legal matters clearly to clients
  • Discretion and the ability to respect client confidentiality
  • Tackles tasks in a structured manner to ensure completion to a high standard
  • Solid organisation and time management skills
  • Experience of working in a team and the ability to develop relationships with colleagues
  • Proven attention to detail and drafting skills
  • Sound problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to a broad range of situations and circumstances and remain calm under pressure
