We are looking for a scientist or engineer to play a leading role in our RF photonics team. You will lead the design and development of RF-photonic hardware for electronic warfare (EW) applications.
You will work closely with experts in both EW and RF receiver design to create a system that will define the next generation of EW products for Leonardo.
What you will do
You will have the opportunity to join a team at the outset of the following tasks to develop RF-Photonic technology for next generation ECM & ES products
This role will involve travel across the UK for technical reviews, and may involve international working in the future. This is expected to be less than 10% of your time.

Required :
o Low noise, high dynamic range optical and RF front-ends
o Wide band high SFDR RF-Photonic signal processing

Due to the nature of our work, any candidate any candidate being considered must have 5 years UK residency. In addition, the candidate must be capable of achieving full SC security clearance to enable access to UK Eyes Only & ITAR export control information.
