MiHomecare is seeking motivated and hardworking Care Assistants to join its supportive team in Carmarthen. This is a full time, permanent role.

Your role at MiHomecare

As one of our highly-valued Care Assistants, you’ll be a positive presence in your clients’ lives. You’ll be responsible for helping clients living with Dementia or mild cognitive impairments feel safe and supported in the comfort of their own homes, as part of our Fulfilled Lives’ service.

You’ll work with your clients and family members to assess their cognitive and physical needs, and you’ll deliver a tailored care plan to offer the very best all-round support.

You’ll help your clients with their medication, personal care, shopping, meal preparation and housework. You’ll work with them to establish routines and create visual prompts for everyday tasks.

You won’t just be a Care Assistant to your clients, you’ll be a true companion, offering emotional support and encouragement too.

And above all, you’ll treat your clients with kindness, respecting their choices and independence.

    Requirements :

  • Experience as a Care Assistant working alongside a Dementia service user
  • Good working knowledge of Dementia / Alzheimer’s
