Nurse Team Lead Outpatient Bushey, Watford Band 6-equivalent salary Fixed term- 1 year Full time - Flexible hours

Spire Bushey Hospital has an exciting fixed term opportunity for a Nurse Team Leader to join their enthusiastic and committed Outpatient team.

This role is based in a fast pace environment that will requires quick thinking . The successful applicant will provide exemplary planned care for patients while managing a team and ensuring that the team delivers effective patient care.

Duties and responsibilities :

  • You will deputise and lead the team which includes clinical and non-clinical personnel to provide the highest standards of care, safety and service to patients, relatives and other customers such Consultants, using a philosophy of care endorsed within the hospital which will be underpinned by policy, procedures, protocols, business strategies and imperatives.
  • You will provide clinical leadership of the highest calibre to ensure the highest standards of nursing care are consistently provided to all patients attending the clinical setting.
  • You will also develop a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety, security and infection control, lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practices and plan, allocate, assess and provide feedback to team members
  • Who we're looking for :

  • NMC registered Nurse with no restriction on practice
  • Extensive experience of working at a Senior or team Level
  • Phlebotomy trained
  • Experience of Cardiac monitoring 24hr hook up for ECG and BP, ENT Decontamination of equipment, equipment usage
  • Plastics General knowledge of wound care and complex wounds and sutures.
  • Minor op set up and support working on safety check list WHO
