Purpose of the Role :
To provide a Reception service to visitors of the McLaren Technology Centre, staff and Customers.
To answer internal and external telephone calls, and referring inquiries where necessary.
Principal Accountabilities :
Greet visitors in a polite, friendly and professional manner
Answering telephone calls
Taking messages as appropriate and ensuring their prompt delivery
Screen telephone calls where appropriate
Maintain a daily written notification of staff movements within and outwith the Company
Prepare daily visitors sheet and keep up to date throughout the day
Liaise with the Gatehouse and other Reception colleagues regarding any additional visitors
Compile daily absence sheet noting staff holidays, sickness, staff out at the Grand Prix etc.
Monitor Reception emails
Assist on the VIP Reception with Sponsor and VIP visits
Keep visitors book up to date and provide name badges for guests
Become familiar with VIP contacts of Directors and Senior Managers to enable them to be dealt with professionally
Keeping colleagues up to date of any relevant information
Arrange taxis for visitors or staff, keeping a schedule of Company account charges.
Assist in updating Reception records
Carry out other duties as required appropriate to the position
Knowledge, Skills and Experience :
Previous experience of working on a Reception would be desirable.
Experience of working in a customer facing role
