More about the role
As our HR, Payroll & Benefits Co-ordinator, you will provide a professional HR administrative service and deliver an accurate, timely and compliant payroll and benefits service to Mercedes-Benz Trucks in line with UK legislation and company policy requirements.
You will ensure that our colleagues are paid correctly and in receipt of their benefits, working to payroll deadlines. You will also oversee the payroll processing for expat assignees.
You will co-ordinate all audit and compliance requirements and provide accurate reporting, including month end. Supporting the benefit renewal process, you will be the first point of contact for colleague queries.
You will undertake all HR administrative activities for all aspects of the colleague lifecycle, ensuring changes are actioned in time.
You will have the opportunity to improve processes and support HR projects. You will build your knowledge of HR polices, being the first line of contact for colleagues.
Alongside experience within a similar role you are experienced in HR, payroll and benefits processes and procedures. You will possess excellent organisational and administrative skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in a confidential environment.
You will need to have excellent MS Office skills with advanced Excel, as well as experience of HR and payroll systems. Ideally you will CIPD level 3 or a Payroll qualification.
In this role you will need to show initiative and propose solutions to identified problems. You will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to build relationships and interact with colleagues of all levels in the organisation.
Importantly you need to be a team player willing to support and take responsibility for tasks and work with minimal supervision, managing your own workload & priorities.
