BNPParibas CIB invested in the Symphony in 2017 and are utilising the Symphony platform as an advanced collaboration tool which will enable both communication and automation between internal and external parties.

The platform is current in use by the Global Markets business and CIB are now deploying it to other business units and functions.

To do this the CIB level programme is being initiated and is looking for a strong senior project manager to help run the programme.

Reporting to the programme manager, the Project Manager will

  • Advise and help initiate the programme workstreams, ensuring they are correctly staffed and led.
  • Run and facilitate workstreams (either ad interim or long term) as identified during the initiation period
  • Undertake deployment and adoption planning and execution in partnership with the business lines and functions
  • Understand the key success criteria for each of the user groups
  • Ensure that all appropriate reviews and sign off have taken place (Compliance, Security, Legal etc)
  • Manage high level user onboarding requests and associated licence allocations
  • Arrange and facilitate Training and other adoption activities
  • Manage the ongoing enhancement list with the Business Lines and the vendor
  • Work with development teams, Application Support and the infrastructure team to help manage and track integrations, infrastructure enhancements and vendor upgrades
  • Undertake and produce project, programme and user activity reporting as part of regular governance which includes data analysis and sourcing.
  • Ensure that programme and project administrative tasks such as Clarity, etc are executed either by the team or directly.
  • As a project manager you will have an excellent eye for detail and high level of organisational ability but also be able to identify actions that need to be undertaken and proactively execute on them with minimal supervision.

    The ideal candidate will have several years of experience managing projects and programmes within a banking environment and be able to quickly get up to speed with the internal processes and systems of the bank.

    The role will require stretching across multiple skills and requires an enthusiastic attitude and an ability to drive through delivery and interact with senior stakeholders and dependent functions.

    The successful candidate will not just identify risks and issues but personally take hold of solving them and not be afraid of getting their hands dirty to do so.

    Skills & Experience Required :

  • Experience working and using the Symphony or similar collaboration platforms within Financial Services
  • Strong Project Management and Organisational Skills
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Experience of rolling out internal and 3rd party software products
  • Understanding of chat and collaboration tools
  • Conversational French Desirable
