Experience of working with adults with Learning disabilities
Experience of managing a team
Ability to develop good professional relationships with service users family and key stakeholders
A positive attitude & passionate about supporting adults with learning disabilities
Can demonstrate a practical understanding of delivering personal care with dignity and Privacy
Excellent knowledge of CQC KLOES and how to be compliant
Strong organisational skills
Excellent written and Verbal communication skills
Excellent IT skills and the ability to learn new care management software packages
Can work independently and demonstrate good judgement
An effective team Player
To be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, on occasions this may require sleep in
Being a Service Manager involves :
Day to day responsibility for the management of the services
Responsible for the quality assurance ensuring the service is compliant with all legislation including CQC and local authority contracts.
Line manage and support the care staff with regular supervision and team meetings
Creating person-centred care plans and positive risk assessments
Leading the support team to provide good quality care & Support
Enabling service users to access the community, learn daily living skills and complete personal care tasks
Enabling them to make healthy meal choices, take their prescribed medication and live safely in a supported living environment
Safeguarding service users rights and dignity and taking the lead on any incidents or investigations
Be a professional representation of the organisation to service users families, social worker
Taking part in a on call rota
Achieving organisational and personal objectives.
