Morrison Utility Services are recruiting for a Field Supervisor for our EON Smart Metering contract, who will oversee our Southern based teams.
The Field Supervisor will provide day to day operational leadership for all meter technicians within a defined geographical area, ensuring that they operate safely, profitably, to statutory, client and company expectations.
You will be responsible for the supervision of our field resources, leading a team of up to 30 FTE's.
As Field Supervisor your duties & responsibilities will be :
Ensure that the field technicians comply with the requirements of our MOCOPA, MAMCOP OAMI and Gas Safe accreditations.
Ensure that field technicians conform to statutory requirements and company policy / procedures.
Monitor overall field performance, identifying any areas of underperformance and take appropriate and timely action to rectify them.
Support the Onboarding Manager and Field Liaison Training Manager in ensuring that the field operations are effectively trained in line with contract objectives / targets and that key personnel are retained and developed.
Oversee the operational resource / activity within areas of responsibility to professional, financial and quality standards.
Setting and managing performance objectives for those resources responsible for.
Ensure that contracts operate profitably and to required standards continually looking for, and implementing improvements and cost savings.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
Proven person-management abilities and motivational skills, gained in roles within the utility sector.
Relevant management or professional qualifications.
Proven high level communication and negotiation skills.
Minimum of 5 years management experience in utility contracting or similar environment.
Understanding of health & safety and quality management.
High degree of commercial / strategic awareness.
Good appreciation of statutory framework in contracting law, H&S law, employment law, etc.
Strong client and customer focus.
Proven can do attitude.
