Job Description My client, with head offices based in Leatherhead, are looking for a Field based IT Support Engineer to join their growing team.
The role will primarily cover London and the surrounding counties but may also require travel to other areas of the UK from time to time.
You will support Microsoft and to a lesser degree Apple Mac environments, at client sites, across the full lifecycle of products including desktop systems, networking and servers.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting a field based IT support role. You will be working in a team environment but will also be required to work individually.
The ideal candidates will possess experience and be proficient in supporting and troubleshooting : . Server Operating Systems including Server 2008, 2008R2, 2012, 2012 R2 & 2016.
Server Hardware. Windows desktop operating systems including Vista, 7, 8 & 10. PC hardware. Printer hardware. Networking, including switches, routers, patch panels and cabling.
Active Directory, DHCP, DNS & Microsoft Exchange. The successful candidate will be : . A highly motivated individual with a strong focus on customer service and problem solving.
Confident. Positive, can do attitude. Professional. Punctual. Hold a full clean UK driving License. You will have all necessary equipment to maintain and progress the high levels of service delivered.
The package includes continuing hands on training and support, company car including private use. This position is remote based and may require travelling time of up to 2 hours from your home on a regular basis.
