We are seeking an exceptionally motivated individual to join the team as a key member of the support team for Orchard Care Homes.

This is an exciting new opportunity within the training and compliance team. The varied role would suit an individual with strong administration experience and a knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act standards.

Reporting into the Head of Care for our award-winning homes, the Quality and Training Administrator will work across the organisation with a variety of key personnel.

You will be responsible for maintaining the professional standards throughout the Company, ensuring legislative requirements and service levels are met.

As well as upholding standards you will be a key representative for health and safety. You willensure that safe working practices are followed within all areas of your responsibility, to safeguard the health and well-

being, safety and protection of yourself, your colleagues and others.

Through your role in compliance and home care standards you will be able to identify training requirements across the organisation.

Building on your relationships with key stakeholders such as Operations Managers, Home Managers and Head Office departments you will provide support and guidance on training when required.

You will be responsible for ensuring the training guidelines for staff are met and arrange courses, providers and amenities to run training when required.

The role requires good IT and organisational skills. It also requires effective communication skills and the ability to develop relationships with the home staff, suppliers and professionals including the Operational Managers.

The ability to work both independently and as part of the team are vital.

The post holder will be based at our Support Centre in Harrogate. This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week.
