Key Account Manager - UK and Ireland
ROCKWOOL Core Solutions are recruiting for a Key Account Manager to join their commercial team. This role is a full time, permanent vacancy which will cover a National geography including Ireland.
The successful candidate will need to be flexible on International travel also.

Strategic Management :
The ability to understand and anticipate customer’s existing and future needs in depth and communicate this within the RCS organisation to get help to fulfil these needs
The ability to develop compelling solutions to customer’s issues
Bring fresh insight to client’s business that helps them to deliver competitive’ advantages
Develop joint product development activities that are beneficial to the customer as well as RW-CS
Build and manage relationships between company with customers, including stakeholders, in the market and influential bodies
Being able to relate to and to maintain relationships to people at all levels in the organisation of a customer (from production floor to CEO) and connect them with the relevant counterpart with the Rockwool organisation
Business Management :
Acts like a Business Manager being fully conversant with financial analysis per customer
Retains an overall responsibility for the profit and loss and growth achieved per account
Can predict sales volume based on forecasting of the sales development
Responsible for setting of and deliverance of key business metrics like turnover, profit and product portfolio
Strong commercial bias combined with Entrepreneurial mindset
Sales Management :
Negotiate sales contracts including prices and conditions in accordance with ROCKWOOL guidelines and business scope
Secure the quality of services
Acts as a tandem with Customer Service
Provide proper after sales service in terms of claim handling or technical service
This is what you offer :
A professional, technical knowledge of the application area or the profile to acquire the specific knowledge in the first year of employment
Ability to communicate to a senior level in the English Language (verbal and written)
Good communication skills including the ability to deliver presentations and to customers
An understanding of Fire, Mechanical and Acoustical properties including CE Marking and approvals for the application area
Ability to organise and prioritise tasks independently with a view to efficiently reach the agreed goals
Independently acts to realise opportunities for selling products and services
Set ambitious goals independently
Builds up an external network
Develop team performance’ with Customer Service to efficiently work with customers to identify / satisfy their needs
Demonstrable sales experience on customised solutions with industrial companies
Project management experience
