This is an opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Head Of Corporate Services / Head of Indirect Procurement to join the Procurement leadership team and help us continue shaping the function, leading change, and provide best in class support to the business.

The ask of you in this role is to further develop and implement leading practices in this category area, effectively manage and further evolve the function in alignment with the various partners and colleagues, to support Arm growing business.

What Categories are in Scope?

All categories with exception for IT / Technology, e.g. Marketing & Events, Travel, Professional Services, HR Services, Facility & Property Management, Logistics.

Role Main Accountabilities

  • Lead and further develop the Category
  • Provide an overall functional leadership to and line management of the team
  • Support continues development of the team capability to meet growing business expectations
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders. Lead planning activity.
  • Ensure design and execution of Category and Sourcing strategies, all plans and projects.
  • Deliver financial benefits, cost savings and avoidance, other efficiencies and added values to the business through great effectiveness of the Category approaches and the team
  • Work close with the Procurement Leadership Team (PLT) colleagues and drive continues improvements, to contribute to the evolution and overall success of the Group Procurement at Arm
  • General Key Responsibilities

  • Understand Category spend and supplier landscape, leading practices and opportunities.
  • Manage Stakeholder relationships, know relevant business strategies, plans and priorities
  • Ensure development and alignment of Category & Sourcing Strategies.
  • Build and align short- and long-term Procurement Plan (The Pipeline / Initiative Tracker).
  • Drive execution of powerful Sourcing strategies, for financial and other benefits realisation
  • Work with Legal teams to build contract templates library
  • Support business to optimize demand and specifications
  • Build, continuously develop and deploy Preferred Supplier Lists (PSL)
  • Manage Tail spend
  • Ensure that all global and regional projects are developed and executed with local countries engagement
  • Lead hands-on large size sourcing / outsourcing initiatives in collaboration with the business
  • Report on the Category and team progress and performance, using agreed key metrics.
  • As a part of the Group Procurement Leadership Team, contribute to the development of the functional and people capabilities maturity
  • Job Requirements

  • Strong experience as Head Of Category with advanced Procurement technical and analytical skills and strong knowledge of how good looks like
  • Strong exposure to various Category areas, technology awareness, supplier and market dynamics, business models, contract negotiations, implementation and supplier relationship management
  • Track record of Category Management implementation and ability to train others
  • Experience from the sales, partnerships and vendor management is a plus
  • Advanced Project leadership skills with success in delivering large and complex, global projects Sourcing, Outsourcing (BPO), Managed Services (MS)
  • Experience in working in complex, high and low maturity global organizations, leading cross-functional teams
  • Excellent people management skills building collaborative and high performing teams
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
