The Head Teacher &Governors are looking to appoint a General Teaching Assistant to supportchildren in class and also supervise some lunchtimes.

We require someone who canbe flexible and will support our children both in and out of class, and somelunch time duties.

The post holder will do this by working alongside teachers inschool, as well as supervising children at lunchtime. Previous experience inchild care is desirable.

The following is a suggested work pattern but can bediscussed further at interview : Monday - Friday 8.30am to 12.30pm, This can bediscussed at interview.

We are seeking to appoint a general teaching assistant’who -

  • Is a passionate, highly motivated person who will be dedicated toensuring the highest quality learning and play experiences for our children.
  • Have a willingness to contribute to and be part of a team with an eagerness toplay a part in the life of our busy school.
  • Have some experience of workingwith children in a play work or educational setting.
  • Share our vision andethos for the highest standards in all aspects of school life.
  • Have goodcommunication and organisational skills, including ICT skills.
  • We are committedto inclusion and are looking for someone with a flexible approach to learningand with the ability to foster excellent professional relationships withchildren, parents, staff and outside agencies.
