Who we’re looking for
You will join our Contract Solutions team as a Legal Associate and will engage in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of trading contracts and agreements such as ISDA Master Agreements, GMRA / GMSLA etc.
in order to ensure client compliance with the latest regulations.
The ideal candidate will have strong language skills and have an interest in working within a corporate environment in a legal capacity.
You will also display excellent commercial awareness, appreciating not only the legal aspects of the role but also the business interests of our clients.
Native / fluent German or French language skills
Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
Experience of working in a professional or regulated environment
Law Degree or equivalent
Post-Graduate legal training (LPC / BPTC / IPLS)
Previous exposure to the Financial Services or Investment Banking sectors
Understanding of the present and upcoming regulatory challenges for financial services firm
Where will you be based?
The role will be based in Belfast; however as a result of the wide variety of clients and projects, you may be asked to work in other locations within the UK and beyond for short, medium and long term periods of time.
Your desire and ability to do this will be discussed as part of the recruitment process. Candidates who are unable or do not wish to work on projects in other locations will still be considered.
