You will be supporting the Front Office Control (FOC) team in a processing and control capacity for our MiFIDII Reporting obligations.

Your new role is required as a result of the changes / introduction to MiFID II reporting requirements, whereby the team has assumed end to end reporting responsibility for Commodity Position Reporting to the Regulator & National Competent Authority, in addition to supporting the Transaction Reporting and Post Trade Enrichment Processes.

    As an F&O Operations Analyst your responsibilities will include :

  • Reviewing, analysing and resolving exceptions
  • Scope of the review includes pre-submission errors, technical errors and NACKs (Non Acknowledgments) from ARM / NCA
  • Liaising with QA Teams, Technology, TR, Operations, FO and Compliance to assist with resolving all exceptions
  • Supporting ongoing Exchange mandated upgrades and testing in relation to changes to our trade processing infrastructure
  • Providing analysis and resolution of issues raised by the Front Office teams.
  • Administration of MiFID II Commodities Position Reporting
  • Support of Post Trade Enrichment processes, and RCA, leveraging Front Office relationships to prevent recurrence
  • Ensuring all transactions / positions in breach are replayed post resolution
  • Contributing to daily, weekly and month metrics and KRIs / KPIs, incorporating RCA
  • As an F&O Operations Analyst your skills / competencies will be :

    Skills :

  • Understanding of the listed derivatives market, specifically Futures and Options and OTC cleared products in addition to being aware of the trade execution and clearing cycle
  • Understand and adapt to regulatory and industry change
  • Working knowledge of MiFID II
  • GMI knowledge would be very helpful
  • Consistent record of achieving results optimising resources and driving efficiencies
  • Excellent communication and the ability to maintain relationships with peers and senior management
  • Skill in identifying and implementing solutions for process improvement
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint skills
