To this end, we are expanding Treasure Truck in UK. Treasure Truck is a fun new way to shop with Amazon - think food truck meets Groupon meets Goodyear blimp, and you’ve got one of Amazon’s quirkiest entertaining retailing experiences.
The concept is simple. Amazon gets a killer deal on a single item a Nikon Camera, Bose headphones, or yoga mats and fills up the truck.
It parks in multiple slots so interested buyers, drawn to the Treasure Truck by a free text notification or the sight of the truck itself, can purchase the product on their smartphone and have their goodies in hand almost instantly.
The trucks are striking to behold : pulled up kerbside with its engaging signage side panel open, and music pumping, the truck has transformed itself into a kind of festive pop-up kiosk
We have an opportunity to bring on board a senior leader who will own our Real Estate acquisition business - a vital pillar to ensure that we have the most convenient locations for customers to engage with Treasure Truck.
You will build strategic partnerships with national land owners across the UK to secure new physical pick-up locations (e.
g. large coffee chains, shopping centres, event venues), own our real estate optimisation strategy nationally, and play a key part in improving convenience for customers through new initiatives like different pick up formats / experiences.
This is the perfect role for someone who loves business development, and enjoys using their analytical muscles at the same time.
We are one of the first physical retail businesses within Amazon in the UK, and you’ll be part of an entrepreneurial and fast growing team, where we are constantly testing and learning something new.
It will allow you to explore new ideas, define new processes, build on the best of what exists within Amazon and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
