    In a word

    Your role will work closely with the Pension Manager to maintain strong governance and management of our Schemes and maintain all governance documentation in line with regulatory requirements.

    This is in relation to The People’s Pension Trustee and its Board committees. You will also help with agenda setting, including reviewing and drafting Board and Committee papers, facilitating training on regulatory matters and to ensure all governance and work plans are kept up to date.

    Practically speaking

    Reporting to the Trustee Pensions Manager you’ll be responsible for :

  • Maintain strong governance and management of our Master Trust Schemes
  • Agenda setting and complete, maintain and update all governance documentation
  • Answering questions from The People’s Pension Trustee Directors’ and the business
  • Attend meetings as required and provide guidance for our Trustee’s
  • Maintain and develop the ongoing governance of all Schemes

  • Strong all-round pensions experience particularly in defined contribution schemes
  • Excellent knowledge of all types of pension regulations
  • Ability to interpret, understand, and challenge regulation and legal aspects
  • Proven ability to work with Trustees, management and within a team
  • PMI Qualified or studying towards this (Desirable)
