As a Product Delivery Analyst at Featurespace, you will be responsible for designing and building rules-based solutions within our ARIC Fraud Hub platform to detect and prevent fraudulent behaviour experienced by our customers.

Meet Lucy, Senior Data Scientist at Featurespace

In this customer facing role, you will work in a consultative manner using your industry experience and in-depth understanding of Fraud to bridge gaps in knowledge between our customers and internal technical teams.

You will capture complete fraud requirements by gaining a detailed understanding of customer platforms, processes and data.

It will be your responsibility to ensure that their challenges and needs are well understood and are addressed within ARIC solution deployments, by means of tailored efficient rule sets based upon this available data during platform implementations and Proofs of Concept (POCs).

In this capacity, as a Product Delivery Analyst, you will develop a deep understanding of the ARIC Fraud Hub's fraud prevention functionality and build strong working relationships with the product, data science, engineering and delivery teams.

  • Responsible for the creation and ownership of customer specific rule sets both to support our adaptive behavioral models or as stand-
  • alone solutions for customers in different industries

  • Work directly with customers during a project delivery to gain detailed understanding of the customer, system, process and data
  • Ensuring that customer rules and data requirements are fully extracted, captured, and understood by the Featurespace team and subsequently incorporated to deliver an optimal ARIC solution
  • Act as a fraud industry expert - liaise with and coach key stakeholders and customers to ensure a joined up approach to fraud prevention and understanding of underlying trends
  • Own the creation of best practice rules aligning to our standard products and data schemas to aid simple streamlined project deployments to our customers
  • Become an expert using our internal rules language : holding a deep technical understanding of how rules are built and perform efficiently
  • Deliver on-the-job coaching to develop other team members (e.g. design of analysis, problem solving techniques, fraud trends and prevention techniques)
  • Assist the Featurespace Support and Account Management teams in handling rules-based customer support queries
  • Support Data Science teams with customer proof of concepts to deeply understand the fraud patterns within historical data sets
  • Work with multiple internal teams to build efficient rules complimenting our models, that demonstrate our excellence as a market leader in Adaptive Behavioral Analytics
  • Extensive hands-on experience working within a fraud strategy, analytics, or operations environment
  • A detailed knowledge of fraud prevention at an international level across varied verticals and payment types
  • Proven ability to analyse complex data, draw meaningful conclusions, and provide clear business recommendations based upon this
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead workshops and present to customers and internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong ability to engage with different roles with our customer and internal business, such as Sales, SME, Technical and Implementation
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Experience developing documentation that meets regulatory standards and audit requirements, with the ability to clearly document and articulate required fraud prevention activities specific to each customer use case
  • Excellent data mining and data manipulation skills, with a proficiency using SQL or similar - this will be validated at interview stage
  • Results-oriented with the ability to identify the long-term effects of decisions / solutions for customers and Featurespace as a business
  • A strong interest in fraud and financial crime
