We are recruiting a Data Analyst, Sales / Marketing (Entry level role) to join our London based Aviation Insurance team.

What can you expect?

  • You will establish good relationships with a wide range of colleagues across the whole aviation practice that will build a breadth of knowledge for you across all aviation lines.
  • Your creativity comes into play when producing marketing materials and finding exciting / interesting ways to present the data
  • You will analyse data from a variety of sources to produce analysis for colleagues and clients alike.
  • Informing members of the aviation practice and colleagues what is going on in the wider market, and assist in collating useful information.
  • Review documentation provided and assist in producing client reports.
  • Work with the practice Sales Leaders to track sales and help with full year forecasting.
  • You will work with and have exposure to experienced colleagues on a daily basis.
  • You will gain a first class knowledge in all sides of the business from process to placing via broking and underwriting.

    We will count on you to :

    Sales / Marketing

  • Use SalesForce software to manage the aviation practice’s sales pipelines.
  • Use creativity to create new marketing material.
  • Liaise with colleagues in Aviation as well as across the wider Marsh network to help produce useful documents that facilitate sales.
  • Project manage RFPs (Request For Proposals) from a wide variety of clients. They will range from small regional operators, to some of the world’s largest companies.
  • Presentations / Analytics

  • Analyse data from a wide variety of sources to give insights on Insurance market premium, losses and pricing.
  • Use creativity to display information in appealing and engaging ways.
  • Understands the compliance and regulatory environment to ensure we protect client information while also providing insights about the market.
  • What you need to have :

  • Strong education to degree level or equivalent
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiasm to learn and pick up new skills
  • Attention to detail while creating reports or doing analysis
  • Highly functional in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Good prioritisation, time management, and organisational skills
  • Ability to learn, work in a team and individually and develop extensive knowledge of aviation insurance products and operators.
  • What makes you stand out :

  • An understanding of aviation insurance coverages, Clients’ business, and insurance market issues
  • Previous experience / knowledge of SalesForce software
  • Strong interest, knowledge or experience of the Insurance industry
