We are looking for a Manager, Compliance to join our Boston team.
Ensure that the company is in compliance with all compensation and benefit laws and regulations.
Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual reports are developed in an effective and timely manner. Assess report findings and make recommendations to management as needed.
Manage Affirmative Action plan - train HR and managers on what they need to do to comply with the plan.
Facilitate any local, state or federal law changes- provide direction and work with HR on action play to implement.
Point person for all compliance training and update requirements.
Participate in diversity initiatives, in coordination with the agency's Affirmative Action Plan and Diversity Council.
Benefit and Compensation Management :
Collaborate and provide counsel to the human resources team regarding compensation solutions, issues, evaluating new positions, job bands, levels, job descriptions, promotions and transfers.
In partnership with HR Leadership, create a compensation philosophy and execute plans with senior leadership.
Review and maintain job descriptions; conduct annual reviews for accuracy. Provide insight on role creations and changes across the agency to ensure consistent practices are executed.
Review and calibrate salary bands based on market data and internal analysis.
Develop and participate in compensation / benefit surveys in order to gain understanding of market trends and changing conditions.
Research and create benefit offerings that attract and retain a high caliber workforce. Collaborate with People Managers on needs and effectiveness of current offerings.
Policies and Procedures :
Be the SME on agency-wide policies and procedures. Point person for clarity and direction.
Maintain policies and guidelines. Recommend updates and conduct a policy review with HR and the Executive Leadership team.
Communicate effectively to the agency on any changes.
Create new policies in collaboration with human resources team.
Provide resources / tools for employees to gain understanding of P&P.
HRIS Systems :
Determine a holistic approach to HR Technology to enable the HR team and business to be efficient and agile. Act as a support for determining need through implementation.
Be the point person for HRIS functionality and liaison between vendors.
Four-year degree is required.
7+ years working in Human Resources with concentration in compliance and compensation required.
Experience in the creative / advertising environment preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently in a fast paced, often stressful environment.
