At Civitas Learning, we are looking to add a founding member to our London team to help grow our business internationally.

As a key voice on the team, you will have the opportunity to be a leader in your area on a committed team who are building out the international expansion to a successful EdTech company.

In this role, you will serve as the lead marketing & public relations professional responsible for conceiving and delivering marketing materials and meeting university leaders to help us grow our UK business.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Senior Director of International to understand the Civitas Learning partner story, develop relevant and engaging content across all touch points, and drive content strategy from creation through implementation.
  • Drive improvements in both lead generation and engagement metrics to align sales and marketing strategies across the customer acquisition funnel.
  • Analyze response and customer behavior data and use that information to continually improve marketing activities.
  • Drive a cross-functional program to align teams around content themes and topics. Ensure all stakeholders have a role in content strategy and deliverables.
  • Develop a functional content calendar that will keep all stakeholders aware of deliverables and their roles.
  • Responsible for building a content library to track all content, score it based on stage and relevancy, and track its success across all channels.
  • Leverage content testing strategies to develop and hone messaging to gauge content effectiveness.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years marketing experience; with an emphasis on content marketing and messaging.
  • Must have a growth mindset with an adaptive and innovative approach to problem solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to create multiple types of content without a team of resources and dependencies.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and express them in clear, everyday language.
  • Outstanding written and oral communications skills and be equally effective in both formal and informal settings.
  • Ability to identify and tailor messages to target audience with knowledge of innovation adoption process and stakeholder engagement in new market development.
  • Experience with buyer persona mapping and developing quality leads through networking, referrals, and in-person meetings.
  • Must be a self-starter and have a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage, prioritize, and multitask.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience driving a successful PR strategy and working with UK media.
  • Experience with creation of demand generation strategies and campaigns, and comfort with list and campaign creation within marketing automation tools and Salesforce.
  • Strong grasp of marketing performance metrics and reporting.
