Purpose of role :

Gamma are currently looking to expand their Product Marketing team by recruiting a Market Insight Manager.

As the Market Insight Manager, you will be focused on examining the current Market requirements, trends, competitor insight and gap analysis.

You will be a key stakeholder to ensure that all relevant products are developed in line with Market requirements.

You will be responsible for the creation and management of a best-in-class insight capability for the entire product portfolio providing valuable and timely information on our market, competitors and customers in an actionable format.

Key accountabilities :

  • Data-led insight : demonstration of distilling complex data into meaningful insight that has led an organisation into taking corrective action whether that was a market foresight, a competitor anticipation or a piece of customer insight.
  • Develop Market and Customer Insight : evidence of using both primary and secondary research, and qualitative and quantitative methodologies to deliver powerful and actionable insights.
  • Provide a Commercial mindset : ensure that business decisions are made based on factual, evidence based propositions and plans.
  • Marketing planning and effectiveness : work in a structured and organised way that adds value to a company’s activities, and an aptitude for identifying and reporting in an analytical way, what activities add value, and those which may not.
  • Collaboration and understanding : ability to work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders (inside and outside of the business) to understand their needs, and to develop strong networks with all, including managing marketing agencies effectively
  • Communication and influencing : professional, presentable, dependable and self-motivated. Excellent interpersonal and team working skills.
  • Experience of managing a small (remote) team.

  • Planning and organisation : excellent understanding of marketing and project planning techniques. Ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously, accurately and according to priority.
  • Reasonable proximity to Gamma offices in London, Newbury or Manchester.

    About You :

  • A solid education background that demonstrates an analytical and constructive mindset, ideally at Bachelors’ Degree level.
  • Significant experience of assessing current Market requirements, trends, competitor insight and gap analysis in an Agile environment.
  • Previous experience of working in a B2B technology environment.
  • Proficient in the use of IT with a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Comfortable working effectively and accurately when working to multiple competing deadlines.
