Contract type : 9 month FTC

The role

The purpose of this role is to enable the smooth running of a project by supporting the project manager through the operation of project management processes, and the co-ordination of business management actions and activities on their behalf.

Key responsibilities :

  • Organises key project meetings and provides secretariat support. Defines and maintains project reporting; ensures other related organisational tasks are carried out efficiently.
  • Monitors project progress and compliance of the project
  • Supports project manager with the development and maintenance of the project schedule for activities required to successfully complete project incl.
  • Monitorsprojectspend and contributes to the compilation of budgets and the development of the business case
  • Establishes and maintains project resource planning, providing information for effective decision making to the Project Manager
  • Establishes and maintains the project stakeholder and communications logs. Establishes and develops professional relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and acts as lead point of contact for some external parties.
  • Supports the project manager draft and seek agreement for related project communications
  • Provides advice and guidance to the project team on application of agreed project approachapproach, tools,formsand templates appropriate for organisational context and project.
  • Sets up and maintains project file management using robust version control
  • Education, Work Experience, Skills

  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Experience coordinating a team of stakeholders from a project or department
  • Experience resource planning, providing information for effective decision making to the Project Manager
  • Experience providing reporting and scheduling support to a Project Manager or Senior Stakeholder
  • Experience building relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and acting as a lead point of contact for some external parties
