Currently we are looking to recruit a Senior Urban Drainage Modeller with urban drainage modelling project experience to join our open and friendly team on new and existing framework commissions within the Midlands and nationwide.
This role can be based in either our Birmingham or Redditch offices.
A key part of this role will include the appraisal and analysis associated with the hydraulic modelling of infrastructure schemes.
This is a chance to join a specialist and agile team that work not only as part of core project teams on framework / commissions but also reactively on emerging issues.
The successful candidate will lead a small team of modellers to develop wastewater infrastructure feasibility projects. In addition, you will provide technical expertise and ensure that projects are delivered to cost, schedule, technical and quality standards to meet both client and Stantec expectations.

To be considered for this opportunity you must be degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and ideally hold Chartership with an industry relevant institution e.
g. ICE, CIWEM. You will have previous successful project delivery experience in an urban drainage environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate technical experience covering a wide range of urban drainage modelling activities and a full working knowledge of Infoworks ICM, MapInfo, and GIS tools.
The Senior Urban Drainage Modeller will provide guidance, training, and contribute to staff development within the discipline.
You will assist with bids and the preparation of cost estimates within our project frameworks. The role will involve taking part in the planning, programming, and coordinating of urban drainage projects while ensuring technical governance and best practices are upheld.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills through report writing, developing and delivering presentations (external and internal), and making contacts in the industry.
The successful candidate will have experience in the mentorship and development of a small team while providing technical leadership to other modelling staff in an urban drainage environment with an excellent client service focus.
