Learn more at http : / / www.boomi.com / The Cloud Engineer works as a member of Dell Boomi’s Managed Cloud Services (MCS) Operations Team to design, build, and maintain containerized and serverless cloud-based production runtimes directly supporting our customers’ mission critical business integrations and processes.
The Cloud Engineer is responsible for delivering and maintaining a world class customer experience including regular interaction as well as deployment, technical accuracy, and completeness of integrated system designs across development, testing, staging, production and operations.
Job Functions Interface with enterprise customers and deliver dedicated cloud based containerized solutions for the Dell Boomi runtime.
Design, develop and execute containerized solutions to facilitate the rapid delivery of cloud-based system and application updates to customers.
Utilize Docker and Kubernetes and other similar containerized technologies in multiple platforms, Azure or AWS, with primary focus on one.
AKS, AWS ECS / EKS, GKE). Follow Agile and Kanban practices using Atlassian tool suites including BitBucket, JIRA and Confluence. Essential Job Requirements Significant relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Azure, AWS or GCP training and hands-on experience. Experience with Kubernetes and / or other similar containerized services.
Minimum basic or Intermediate proficiency in at least one or more programming and scripting language (preferably Python or Java) Intermediate to advanced experience with the Linux (RHEL) and Windows operating systems.
High comfort with administering operating system environments at the command level. Experience monitoring production application systems, performance optimization, root cause analysis, and advanced troubleshooting.
Fundamental understanding of Computer Architectures, Cloud-based technologies, virtual computing and networking fundamentals.
Must be a quick learner, self initiator and team player who takes pride in producing superior results while contributing to an A-caliber team.
