Job Purpose and Impact

LOCATION : Worcester (UK), WR5 3HR (preferred) or Wolverhampton (UK), WV9 5EU

Cargill’s European protein business is a leading supplier and innovator of further processed chicken products for retail, food service and food manufacturing customers.

We are based in a newly opened Worcestershire office. You will play a key role in liaising with our external customers, handling sales orders, returns, credits and contract information.

This role will provide exposure to a wide customer base and therefore the opportunity to develop strong positive customer relationships.

This role is a full time Monday-Friday role and will also require weekend cover one weekend in two to support customers who order over the weekend for several hours.

If based in Worcester the role will have occasional travel (1-2 times a month) to the Wolverhampton site. If based in Wolverhampton travel to Worcester will be needed 2-3 times per week.

Key Accountabilities

  • Total Order Management for Food Service and Retail customers
  • Raising sales orders in SAP, informing customers about their order status, processing invoices, contract balances and other information
  • Handle queries and resolve disputes, returns, credits and co-ordinate communication between third party storage and the customer
  • Act as the link between Accounts Receivable and Commercial teams when dealing with Late payments
  • Follow up on pre payments and credit limits prior to delivery commencing
  • In the event of quality claims, act as the link between Quality and Commercial
  • Understand the needs of the customer, supporting them with queries and set them up in the customer system
  • Arrange samples to be delivered to customers
  • Small continuous improvement projects and general administration and filing
  • Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education to A-level or equivalent secondary level education or relevant experience
  • Effective and passionate about administrative / supply chain tasks
  • Keen attention to detail and numerate
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, ensuring daily tasks are completed on time
  • Experience of taking care of external customers with strong people and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a similar Customer Service / Sales Support role in a Manufacturing / FMCG company
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Office skills
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of SAP or SAP based systems
