ASA is currently recruiting an Administration Assistant for one of our clients based in Aberdeen.

The position is on a temporary basis with long term potential. It is full-time hours from Monday to Friday and the initial rate of pay is £8.45 per hour.

The successful candidate would be part of a team required to carry out a range of administrative and clerical functions needed to support the provision of an effective and efficient support service for the organisation.

Main responsibilities of the Administration Assistant include but are not limited to :

  • Clerical and administrative duties including : word processing, minute taking, filing and reception / telephone duties.
  • Updating organisation information systems as required, to ensure accurate data recording.
  • Carrying out financial duties, including processing petty cash, accounts and invoices in accordance with agreed financial procedures, ordering goods and services using an electronic system and banking.
  • Having a proactive approach to continuous professional development and participate in individual, team and service development.
  • Main requirements for the Administration Assistant role are :

  • Experience and knowledge of general administrative procedures.
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to work with minimum of supervision.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
