£23,000 per annum plus Tronc plus commission
New bar concept by the management of The Alchemist.
The Duty BDM will manage the day to day operational requirements of the venue whilst also taking ownership of brand awareness and Business development initiatives.
Specific expectations include but are not restricted to the following
Business Development :
The creative marketing of the brand identity and offering through Social platforms and personal interaction.
Internal and external Guest Liaison in order to facilitate positive and long-standing relationships to support the growth of the Business.
To be the key contact for all enquiries both internal and external.
To assist the General Manager and Operations team with the evolution of the brand strategy and identity.
To drive key initiatives through the business whilst operating as the guardian of brand culture.
Cultivating new Revenue streams whilst maximising financial opportunities at all times.
To establish a positive and rewarding work environment whilst facilitating an effective work life balance for all members of the team.
To lead by example at all times and be a positive role model for all.
To champion all brand values, service criteria and procedures.
To constantly implement the Company ethos.
To embrace the brands social responsibility and support all community initiatives.
To empower your team and push them to expand upon the parameters of their potential.
To undertake and manage the financial responsibilities of the brand such as banking, safe counts, cashing out tills and receiving change orders.
To ensure that all compliance requirements of the business are undertaken diligently in order to maintain a safe environment for all staff and guests.
To ensure that all guests receive attentive and efficient service and at all times.
To ensure that the venue maintains a high standard of presentation and cleanliness at all times.
To be aware of any maintenance issues and respond accordingly.
To ensure that all daily opening, changeover and breakdown responsibilities are undertaken routinely and correctly.
To ensure that brand specifications are adhered to at all times.
To ensure that all guests are served within brand guidelines both at the table and the bar.
A hands-on approach will be required from the Duty BDM at times as to ensure the venue operates efficiently.
