The Team

The Production team are at the heart of the business operation. From filling to packing the production team keeps things ticking over with a focus on providing our customers with high quality consumer goods;

the production team produce aerosol and non-aerosol personal care products for our ever growing and expanding list of customers.

The production team are the people that take customer orders, innovations and product concentrate and create the end product that you’ll see on the shelves in the shops.

Our Growth in capabilities at our Wellington site over the last 18 months and the increased consumer demands have created numerous opportunities in our Operations Team.

With exciting developments such as our newly introduced shift pattern of continental shifts (please see vacancy documents for details of our roster - hours of work are 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am) to complement our established teams;

The Role

As a Production Line Leader you’ll be reporting in to the Zone Leader to organise and lead a team of operators to ensure high quality goods are produced;

with a focus on quality you’ll be working with your team and the Quality Assurance team to ensure that we’re delivering in line with customer and KDC / One production and quality standards.

With the spotlight on Production you’ll be at the forefront of the operations team, working on a newly established working pattern of continental shifts (please see vacancy documents for details of our roster - hours of work are 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am) the Operations team are leading the business in our exciting period of business growth.

What does a typical day look like?

You will use your attention to detail to identify and raise quality issues with your Zone leader, supporting with resolutions as required.

You will use your collaboration skills and attention to detail to work proactively with the site Quality Assurance team to provide resolutions to quality issues on the line, escalating where appropriate

You will use your communication skills to understand and communicate tasks allocated on the production line with your colleagues and Zone Leader

You will use your Teamworking skills to carry out production tasks allocated

Previous experience in Production environment

Previous experience in organising and leading a team

Experience or good understanding of quality standards

Attention to detail

Self motivated

Have good team working skills.
