The day to day

Your role will involve carrying out viewings for our lettings properties as well as supporting and working with the wider branch team to help everyone achieve their performance goals.

Whether you re registering the details of applicants, updating our database or keeping notes on your conversations with landlords, you ll always work to the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.

We ll expect you to look for opportunities to introduce extra services that will help our customers, and to make the best use of our diary system to optimise those opportunities.

Your responsibilities will also include :

  • Meeting your own targets (which you ll agree with your manager)
  • Keeping branch and personal activity records
  • Creating correspondence that s clear and professional
  • Carrying out business generation activities and converting leads
  • Delivering the exceptional levels of service that will lead to positive reviews through Net Promoter Score, Feefo and Google reviews
  • Giving applicants and landlords regular feedback and updates; Living the customer comes first approach
  • Understanding and promoting other Countrywide services and products
  • Following our service standards, lettings process, policies and procedures along with all relevant legislation
  • Carrying out various other tasks to support your manager.

    Compliance requirements

    In an industry like ours, compliance is key. So we ll need you to :

  • Complete all relevant online learning compliance training on time, every time
  • Carry out your role in a consistent and compliant manner
  • Maintain a good knowledge of our health and safety policy, especially when it comes to out-of-office appointments and canvassing
  • Comply with all company and statutory legislation, including Estate Agent Act 1979 and Customer Protection Regulations 2008

    Your skills and experience

    To be a Lettings negotiator, you ll need to passionate about property and providing excellent customer service. You should be a clear and professional communicator -

    as good at listening to others as you are at speaking with them. Strong organisation, planning and problem-solving skills are also a must and, you ll need to have a full, clean driving licence.
