If you are interested, please read on and apply. The opportunity We are seeking a high performing Senior Manager to lead our modelling proposition in the market.
Our modelling team supports clients with significant modelling transformation projects. Clients come to us when they are faced with regulatory change like Solvency II and IFRS, new efficiency requirements or major integration exercises.
At the same time, many of our clients are grappling with legacy models that need significant work to meet modern reporting timelines.
Actuarial systems are changing fast with new technology challenging traditional approaches. Cloud solutions, new vendors and open source coding provide opportunities to integrate the actuarial component into the financial reporting technology stack more efficiently.
You would work with our wider advisory team to continuously develop EY’s point of view on modelling systems, design and implementation.
You would bring the actuarial component to the conversation and maintain links with the actuarial modelling community. You will be responsible for shaping and leading projects with clients, supported by a small onshore team of experienced modellers and a large offshore team with experience in Prophet, MoSes, Axis and Tyche, amongst others.
Projects often incorporate additional utilities outside of the core actuarial system such as visualisation tools and robotic components and you would lead projects upgrading the end to end architecture.
