Product Manager Joinery
You will be responsible for the managing an assigned range of products finalising the specification and pricing and launch to the depot network.
This will require a thorough understanding of the marketplace to ensure this is market leading in execution. This role would suit an experienced Product Manager looking to develop their career or an experienced Assistant Product Manager looking to take the next step.
Currently based in Northampton then relocating to our new purpose built offices in Raunds in early 2020.
Responsibilities in brief
To liaise with supply on finalising product specification required for launch of new product introductions including the final commercial costs
To create the new product pricing ensuring market competitiveness and in line with the product architecture
To create the plans for product launches ensuring inspiration and authority in this
To communicate briefs and expectations for projects to cross functional teams ensuring ongoing communication on the deadlines
To liaise with all relevant departments to ensure products are launched on time and with full product compliance.
To authorise the maintenance and population of STEP for all new products within assigned category team
To ensure communications on both the existing product range and new introductions are comprehensive and accurate
To support the team with calls from depots responding to daily requests
To analyse feedback from depots and ensure this is circulated to relevant teams with recommendations
To support on providing insight on product and summaries for internal meetings Regional Manager, Trade Board etc
To manage the Assistant Product Manager in order to deliver required business objectives together.
Develop objectives for the team to reach it’s potential, identifying opportunities for the team to the Senior Product Manager
Skills & experience
Experience of working as a Product Manager
Highly commercial methodology with excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast paced commercial environment and stay calm under pressure
Experience of successfully taking products to market
Commercial understanding on pricing
Fast and accurate data entry experience
Team player who is happy to learn from and support others
Organised, able to multitask and maintain accuracy
Good computer skills ideally in Excel and associated packages
