Our business is growing and developing as we expand our client base across the UK and the global market. We are therefore looking for an experienced and dynamic account lead (Senior Account Manager or Account Director based on experience) to help with the work we do with our strategic UK accounts.

This role is focused on UK accounts, which are complex and challenging, and offer the most exciting opportunities as we work with them on their talent needs for today, tomorrow and beyond.

Founded in 2002, Aon's Assessment Solutions (formerly cut-e) provides assessment solutions for our clients, e.g. online tests, questionnaires and gamified assessments for attraction, selection, talent management and development.

We have developed smart, valid and innovative psychometrics that have made us the preferred partner of multinational organisations.

We are also a digital company, with tech being a big part of what we do, alongside consultancy services. This offers great growth potential for you and us!

Core activities

  • Manage a portfolio of strategic UK accounts these might have a global aspect too, so expect to collaborate with global account leads
  • CRM and pipeline management, accurate forecasting of opportunities and management of your account portfolio
  • Think a split of 80 : 20 in terms of existing accounts and new business you are supported by a New Business function, so no cold calling etc.
  • it's warm and qualified new conversations

  • Some travel across the UK when and where needed
  • Sharing your expertise with the wider commercial team and develop your own skill set
  • Skills and Qualifications

  • Ideally 5-10 years of experience in a commercial, revenue generating role within the talent space; experience with assessment is great, but not essential
  • Knowledge of and experience in selling into HR buyers - ideally talent assessment and development solutions within the FSTE 250
  • A self-starter with entrepreneurial drive and ability to cope with ambiguity
  • A good team player who enjoys working with a multi-cultural, likeminded team
  • Growth mindset, with a willingness to learn
  • Resourceful and result-oriented approach
  • A people-oriented person with proven client development and relationship management experience
  • Effective communication is key - to us, that means listening carefully, challenging in the right way, plus influencing and persuading HR buyers
