Secondment opportunity available to professionally qualified adult social care social workers
West Yorkshire Trading Standards is recruiting to its multi-agency task force tackling financial abuse of vulnerable adults, including scams, frauds, doorstep crime and frauds by carers, family members and others.
A high profile, front line unit, the team consists of criminal investigators, trading standards officers, Police, financial investigators and social workers.
If you’re passionate about safeguarding vulnerable adults, want to support victims of financial exploitation and abuse, and are keen to support fellow professionals we’d like to hear from you.
This post is offered as a secondment for an experienced social worker, initially on a 12 month secondment, with continuation subject to further funding.

You will be expected to travel around West Yorkshire and attend meetings as and when required and on occasions be available outside normal hours.
The post will be based at the Trading Standards offices at Gildersome, Morley. Applicants must have the support of their line manager.
