Location : Newcastle / Bentley

Your Tasks / Responsibilities :

  • Ensure the LEONI Bentley operation conforms to the LEONI QMS, VW and Bentley customer specific requirements.
  • Monitor product quality through-
  • Customer concern Monitor
  • Plant product audits
  • Reference product audits (performed by UK team)
  • Warranty issues
  • Containment of identified issues
  • Liaise with production plants
  • 8D content and resolution
  • Supervise bill of material tear downs
  • Support the preparation of and participate in pre-series and volume launch readiness events (on-line events and plant visits)
  • Support the development of Bentley specific LEONI designed components and ensure PPAP requirements are achieved.
  • Organise and monitor the daily activities of the UK Quality Auditors
  • Support and monitor rework activities
  • Deputise for the Quality Manager
  • Substitute for the resident Quality Liaison in Bentley
  • Your Profile :

    Ideally qualified to degree level in an Engineering discipline

    Experience in a similar role within the Automotive Industry preferable

  • Strong interpersonal skills to liaise directly with the customer
  • A dynamic self-starter with willingness to take the initiative and be proactive
  • Knowledge of automotive quality systems and specifications desirable
  • Experience of Quality Core tools and problem solving
  • Knowledge of Failure Analysis and Defect Analysis
  • Experience of carrying out audits desirable
  • Advanced user of MS-Office, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel both within UK and overseas
