We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Nurse to join our stunning Alfreton hospital in Derbyshire. The practice is located near beautiful countryside and is easily commutable from nearby Nottingham.
This newly acquired practice will act as a referral centre for our local Medivet branches.
What you'll be doing?
Your average day will include a variety of nursing and surgical duties as well as assisting with clinical coaching. Full support will be provided as you will work closely within our experienced team.

The role is full time working 40 hours per week with 4 in 11 Saturdays 08 : 00 to 12 : 30.

Within our Alfreton Park Vet Hospital you will be working as part of a large driven team of 10 vets, 12 nurses and 5 receptionists.
Our busy and dynamic team of nurses and receptionists work alongside a team of vets whom are are mostly all certificate holders who specialise in dermatology, surgery, internal medicine and others studying towards emergency and critical care and ophthalmology.
The practice comes well-equipped with six consult rooms, separate dog and cat wards, three sterile theatres, separate suites for diagnostics, dental facilities, digital x-ray, two staff rooms and much more.
