The Role

As the Management Accountant your duties would include the following :

Management of expense and supplier invoice processing

Payment approvals for supplier payment runs and expenses - as needed.

Month end processing for costs and associated accruals

Completion of accounting entries for the Holding Companies

Production on monthly departmental P&L reports - including but not limited to revenue analysis, cost reporting, marketing spend analysis

Working with non-finance managers and department heads to control costs and drive performance

Identification of areas for process improvements within finance and driving the implementation of efficiency improvements

Supporting the CFO in collation of the budgets and forecasts by managing the inputs from the departments

Reviewing project profitability and identifying areas for improvement / lessons learnt

Providing support to the wider business on financial analysis as required

Your Profile

The successful Management Accountant would be a active studier (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) and someone who has a strong academic background.

Ideally 2-5 years finance experience either in or around Management Accounts. This is a very visual role so they would need someone who is a strong communicator.

Salary & Benefits

£30,000 - £35,000 plus comprehensive benefits including life insurance, bonus, medical cover, study support and flexible benefits.

The offices are located within walking distance of Reading mainline station with hybrid working, 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.
