MBN are exclusively partnering with a renowned Glasgow-based company who have developed globally-used software systems. Their software is used across a variety of domains including Automotive, Retail and Healthcare.

Due to product development, expansion and client growth they are looking to recruit a Junior Software developer into their team.

This individual will be nurtured and developed by a cross-functional team of Development, Data and Product professionals

The team champions innovation and collaboration, is the heartbeat of the company and has a very low attrition rate due to team and company culture, an impactful product, and a genuinely driven environment.

Who you are :

A keen interest not only Software development but also Data & Data Science

Not a lone wolf : We want you to be comfortable working on your own and autonomously, but also able to work with teammates and cross-functionally across the business

Communicative : you will be comfortable explaining your ideas to others including non-technical colleagues

You can work at pace, in a fast-moving environment

Committed to your craft : You have immersed yourself in the world of data science, looking to upskill yourself and have tried varied approaches

Key requirements :

An advanced degree in Maths, Stats, Computer Science or equivalent

Academic experience of Software development

Proficiency in one of the following C#.NET, Java, Python

Knowledge of one of the following : AWS, GCP or Azure would be beneficial

This role would be most suitable for someone looking for their first role as a software developer who is looking to grow their skill set within a supportive, collaborative and nurturing environment and become an integral part of this small growing team.
