Leeds Beckett University has roots dating back to 1824, is one of the largest universities in the UK and one of the largest employers in our city.

Leeds Law School has been teaching law since 1924 and provides a range of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses.

  • We have a significant record of achievement, place student success at the heart of what we do and all our activities ensure excellence in teaching, learning and student experience;
  • our 2018 NSS overall student satisfaction rate of 91% is testament to this.

    Due to student demand we would like to recruit up to 4 part-time hourly paid staff to support the work we do. Successful candidates will join us for Semester 2 to carry out teaching and assessment related activities to :

  • Advocacy
  • International Trade Law
  • EU Law
  • UK Anti-Terrorism Law
  • Applicants must have :

  • an undergraduate degree UK law degree or CPE / GDL
  • teaching experience
  • It is desirable for applicants to possess a master's degree or a UK professional legal qualification with associated relevant PQE.
