Here at Serco we’re looking for an Education Office Operative to join us at HMP Lowdham Grange, Nottinghamshire. Joining our onsite Education team, you’ll play a key part in supporting the Deputy Head of Learning & Skills to deliver an effective and high-quality education to all of its users.
The postholder will also look to develop and maintain professional relationships with tutors and other teams within the prison.
You will ensure prison standards are met and exceeded, demonstrate your ability to work under pressure and strive for continuous improvement on your own working performance.

What you’ll need to do the role
First and foremost, you’ll need thorough knowledge of all Microsoft Office programmes, GCSE Grade C or above in English & Maths and prior experience working within a busy and challenging environment.
You’ll possess excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to manage your own workload and adhere to Data Protection and staff confidentiality at all times.
