Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to bolster our highly motivated Business Analysis Practice. The successful candidate will be working on medium / large projects across the Change portfolio, each supporting the strategic priorities of the UK business.

Some current examples include; the digitisation of high volume low complexity processes, maturing our e-trading capability for both direct customers and brokers, or developing new / enhancing existing products.

This role will span the project lifecycle, from initial concept, business case, scoping and requirements through to working with technical delivery & test teams to successfully implement the changes you have defined, finally handing them over to business as usual.

What you’ll be doing

  • Working as an integral part of the UK Change team, supporting the full project lifecycle from initial scoping through to delivery and benefits realisation processes
  • Producing high quality business analyst deliverables, including but not limited to, scope articulation, business requirements, process models, user stories, functional and non-functional specifications, outcome realisation plans.
  • Building strong, productive relationships with the business, IT & third party stakeholders
  • Implementing continual improvements within your sphere of influence to ensure that we are constantly delivering efficient and effective change
  • Active contribution to the continual up-skilling of our Business Analysis capability via the BA Practice.
  • Our must haves

  • Proven experience of eliciting, documenting and delivering high quality business analysis deliverables.
  • The ability to combine soft influencing, persuasion and consultancy skills with leadership qualities that will encourage stakeholders to positively respond to questions, enquiries and requests to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of working with people at all levels within and external to the business
  • Be highly results driven, with the energy and determination to succeed in a fast paced environment where the speed of response is critical to success
  • Writing and supporting user stories through development
  • Working as part of a globally distributed team
