GTB Based in Sea Containers close to Blackfriars Bridge in state of the art offices, our specialist team brings together talent from some of the best of WPPs global agencies to deliver strategic, creative and operational expertise to our global client in the EU.

Our client is a world leading automotive, and we are working on a global programme to develop new ownership and mobility services centering around a mobile application and in vehicle technology.

Working in a highly agile way our team is responsible for driving the strategy in the EU, UX / design of the application user experience (working closely with the client’s global IT team), the marketing communications around the initiative and organization of a wide range of related initiatives.

With a solid background in all aspects of the UX lifecycle, you’ll have a proven track record of creating rich brand experiences and social media applications across platforms.

A keen eye for clean and simple design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and transform them into intuitive and functional user interfaces.

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be working closely with the creative and development teams to deliver a unified approach. And in this client-

facing role, you’ll also need to be able to quickly grasp a brand’s architecture and take a leading role in workshops and presentations.

  • You will lead the team with surprising and focussed solutions; deftly able to edit ideas into their simplest form / expression;
  • capable of unfolding a core idea into integrated streams of work and channels; unafraid to explore new territory and deliver truly fresh ideas.

    Key Responsibilities and Challenges :

  • Collaborate with Strategy and Technology Teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the project direction, visuals and experience
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to Development.
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback.
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.
  • Validate the experience with user testing.
  • Champion best practice of usability and user-centric design.
  • Always seeking to stay current with latest technology and human interactions, seeking new opportunities to create unique experiences and innovations.
  • Possesses an excellent working knowledge of our creative processes and techniques, especially as they pertain to the User Experience discipline.
  • Requirements

  • 3 to 4 years of solid UX experience
  • Expert users of Sketch and Invision
  • Agency experience
  • Mobility / Navigation / travel applications experience (any sort of product that provides a user with the ability to navigate around their world.
  • Uber, City Mapper, Zipcar, Airlines, jogging trackers

  • Experience in rapid prototyping or animation would be a good plus.
  • Working with development teams is vital.
  • Experience with mobile apps

  • Working on global products with global teams
  • A bachelor’s degree, Design or Art Direction emphasis preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • An excellent, digital portfolio (with diverse projects you had tangible ownership of) including website, interface, mobile site / app, ecommerce and digital experience projects not considering applicants without a portfolio.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, and ability to explain rationale and present work effectively.
  • Understanding of emerging technologies and how these could impact our clients marketing plans and businesses.
  • Understanding the role of digital in people’s lives and how people use it
  • Advanced knowledge of standard UE software, e.g. Visio, OmniGraffle, Axure Pro, InVision
  • Understanding of web technologies such as CSS / JS / HTML / AJAX and the impact that has on UX.
  • Experience working with creatives, strategists, technologists and larger team to bring ideas to life in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working under pressure and multitasking to achieve long and short deadlines
  • Solution-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of digital accessibility standard
