Reporting to the Global System Engineering Leader, the System Integration Engineer will be working on challenges of a diverse scope in a cross-functional environment.

Whilst working on System Integration and Validation for variety of Markem-Imaje’s products, you will help to integrate the technology modules required to bring best-in-class printers to the market.

What you’ll do :

  • Work with cross-functional teams on the system integration of electronic modules, ink jet and thermal transfer printheads, drive systems, sensors, custom drivers, and firmware into innovative industrial marking products
  • Develop and execute Validation Plans. Deliver associated test results
  • Develop and implement integration and test methodology.
  • Improve test automation and coverage.
  • Measure system performance in accordance with project requirements.
  • Physical model implementation, model architecture, real time model execution.
  • Design and implement Hardware in the loop (HIL) models.
  • Implement common system integration and testing methodologies across different product lines.
  • What you need to have :

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar position within an industrial, multicultural environment.
  • Experience in Systems Engineering, requirements definition through system design, integration, verification and validation
  • Experience with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
  • Modeling and simulation (MATLAB, Simulink)
  • Experience with National Instruments LabView
  • Hardware in the loop (HIL) and real time simulation
  • Extensive technical knowledge (electronics, mechanics, hydraulics)
  • Knowledge of software and firmware integration
  • Experience using at least some of quality and lean tools : PPAP, Audits, Control plans, FMEA, 8Do, MSA / SPC, Ishikawa, 5S, etc.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Strong computer skills : Microsoft Office, JIRA, SAP is a plus
  • Good communications skills both verbal and written
