A Supported living service based in Alford, Surrey is looking for a Support worker to support adults with complex Autism and challenging behaviour.
As a Support worker , you will be there to provide the best quality of care and person-centred support.
The ideal Support worker will have experience in Autism and complex needs and can act as role models and mentors to those they support with a positive 'can do' attitude!
Shifts patterns :
Early shift 7 : 00am - 2 : 30pm
Midday 9 : 30am - 17 : 00pm
Late shift 2 : 00pm - 21 : 30pm
Long day 7 : 00am - 21 : 30pm

Responsibilities for you as the Support worker :
As a support worker you would participate in multiple activities such as taking people shopping, cinema and bowling.
Personal care - supporting service users with daily needs such as brushing teeth, bathing and getting dressed.
Documenting - keeping records as well as conducting heath and safety checks.
Supporting service users' development - helping to express emotions, develop communication and how to reduce challenging behaviour.
Requirements for you as the Support Worker :
Level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable
Mandatory Training including : Safeguarding Adults, Medication administration and first aid
Experience in supporting adults with Autism and other learning disabilities
Encouraging and supportive attitude
Location : Alford, Surrey
Salary : Up to £13 per hour
