Salary ProgressionApplicants will commence at the bottom of Band 8a with a full-time starting salary of £54, with a pay step increase after 5 years’ service.

These salaries are offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and the HEE Pay Progression Policy and are subject to annual cost of living review.

Person specification Qualifications and Training Essential criteria Extensive knowledge of specialist area acquired through postgraduate education or equivalent experienceEvidence of continuing professional development Experience and Knowledge Essential criteria Knowledge of workforce development in healthcare to include workforce development approaches education development and commissioning.

Experience of managing and delivering complex projects across organisational boundaries to plan and within budget.Demonstrated ability to present effectively to a wide range of audiences including senior stakeholder groups.

Staff supervision including experience of recruitment and retention and supporting staff development Skills and Abilities Essential criteria Skilled communicator able to select from, and utilise, a range of negotiating and influencing strategies appropriate to different audiencesand environments.

Able to effectively manage a completing and rapidly evolving set of work priorities.Capable of effective planning over medium and short-term planning horizon and with a high tolerance of uncertainty, ensuring the appropriate allocation of resources, early identification of risk.

Able to evaluate and interpret a broad range of complex information sources quickly, generating insight and taken an evidence-based approach to decision making in circumstances where there is contradictory opinions or a broad range of possible actions available.
