Role overview

Interacting with customers, packing orders & creating delicious new products.

Maintain a clean working environment, pack orders for customers and interact with instore customers.

You will be working with fresh sweets, popcorn, candy floss & more : We maintain an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness.

We also work in a friendly and cheerful establishment.

Describe a typical day

Working closely with in store customers to ensure they experience exceptional customer service.

Packing orders for our online customers.

Working closely with our creators; creating exclusive content for our online platform.

Continues cleaning to ensure maximum cleanliness.

Main duties / responsibilities include

Providing excellent customer service.

Picking & packing online orders.

What kind of skills / behaviors will the placement help develop?


Mon-Fri 12pm-5 : 30pm to include a 30 min break Mon-Fri 15.30-21.00 to include a 30min break

In addition to the placement experience which will provide training to increase skills, confidence, and understanding of workplace expectations, AWV is committed to supporting each young person’s employability skills alongside their placement.

We provide personal ad-hoc as well as monthly mentoring sessions, to ensure that the placement opportunity goes successfully.

  • For a minimum of one hour per month, our employability training (both on a remote one-to-one basis and remote group workshops) will cover : CV improvement / updating, interview skills, application writing, job search techniques, and any mentoring required, as well as ensuring an employer reference is received;
  • all to increase the participant’s long-term employment prospects.

    Our employment training and mentoring is remote and therefore resilient to Covid lockdowns; these will not hamper our progression.
