Due to this growing demand, we are heavily investing in our insurance practices and are looking for a Director to drive further opportunity and growth.
You will sit within the Insurance sector Accounts & Business Development team, working closely with the Consulting Service Line’s Performance Improvement leadership to fully utilise expertise and resources.
You’re aim will be to penetrate key accounts, generating new business opportunities and lead on much of our thought leadership.
Your key responsibilities
You will be responsible for creating and developing new market opportunities and propositions, evolving our delivery capability, service offering and standing in the marketplace and supporting the ongoing development of the team.
Leading and generating new business opportunities and sales through proactively managing key client accounts, identifying new client opportunities, playing a significant role in developing and driving new market propositions
Supporting the Global or UK Client Service Partner
Develop and maintain C-Suite relationships and understand complex consulting engagements
Deliver and sell large scale transformation programmes at Insurance clients
Lead and oversee a portfolio of clients, responsible for quality deliverables and engagement financials
Develop EY solutions, in one of more areas such as; regulatory reform, business process management, operations transformation
Build and deliver relevant client solutions, based on knowledge of the client’s agenda and incorporate multiple service lines wherever possible
Lead the delivery of the development plan for each account and monitor progress
Skills and attributes for success
Significant business development experience in the Insurance Sector
A proven record leading a team in selling complex services and solutions at the "C" level of Fortune 500 companies with a preference in a professional services environment
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
Strong business / commercial acumen and an understanding of major industry sector trends preferred with experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
Proven sound judgment and flexibility in balancing multiple project requirements, tight deadlines, and keeping people and projects moving on schedule, with high attention to detail
A driven individual possessing the hard and soft skills necessary to drive transformational performance across our portfolio of accounts and solutions.
Ability to build high-impact c-suite relationships quickly and sustain them. Expert client management and client relationships skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Confidently lead people of diverse, cross-functional teams and geographies
Ability to navigate successfully across complex, geographically and commercial diverse operations
